A nice diversion

I have not written much lately, not felt like it. I met up with a friend though the other morning. We talked about various things. One thing that was going on in my friend's life is the loss of a close relative and it is sometimes hard to make sense of the justice and fairness of such losses.

I do like to read poetry and another friend had just bought me a book on contemporary poems. I liked this one as, although it provides no answers to the above questions, it does provide a nice way of looking at it.

Its called 'Inside our dreams' by Jeanne Willis

Where do people go to when they die?
Somewhere down below or in the sky?
'I can't be sure,' said Grandad, 'but it seems
They simply set up home inside our dreams.'
